I'm sure everyone is aware of the major brawl that happened at an NBA game here in Michigan last week. Not only has it been big local news, but its been hitting the press and airwaves nationally and worldwide as well. Its been the talk of the sports community, and much to the dismay of the NBA, has been used by people dislike sports to point out that sports breed this type of behaviour. I'm not a big sports fan. When I grew up my dad was a pretty famous Real Estate developer in this sta...

Cell phone annoyance takes to the air! http://apnews.myway.com/article/20041215/D8709TTO2.html There are few things in life that bother me more than people that walk around with a Cell Phone growing our of their ear. Everywhere I go, there someone being obnoxious on their cell phone, and its highly annoying.. Why do people do this? Do they think its cool? Its not folks, cell phones were cool 10 years ago when nobody had them, now they mean nothing to other people, so stop looking a...

I'm of the thought that people worry to much about China. Much of what China is about is big talk, and little action. They simply lack the resources, money, and power to do anything substantial, either good or bad, in the world today. So what does China dominate? Plastic Toys and Cheap Clothing, thats about it. Link China trying to be a major power in Asia, can only muster 62 million dollars, no naval vessels or air support, and is finding that they just aren't a world superpower ...

Anyone else catch the big ball drop for New Years in Times Square? When the ball hit the bottom, I saw "2005" then in bigger letters, inches below 2005, there was a GIANT "DISCOVER CARD", so it looked like " 2005 DISCOVER CARD ".. Personally, this made me annoyed, and I turned off the TV.. Is there anything in this country that is sacred ground from commercialization and advertising garbage? Are we free from it anywhere other than in our sleep? Everything from drug commercials on TV (...

I knew it! They never gave the people onboard a chance to take the plane over, they shot it down, then covered it up so the American people wouldn’t be pissed off… I'd have preferred to be alerted upfront about this at the time of the incident, we're all adults, we can handle it. WorldNetDaily: Rumsfeld says 9-11 plane 'shot down' in Pennsylvania WASHINGTON – Ever since Sept. 11, 2001, there have been questions about Flight 93, the ill-fated plane that crashed in the rural fields ...

A new study came up, illustrating the dangers of Cell Phones are deeper than people realise.. Link I hate to say it - but I told ya so! Some will remember I blogged a similar topic a couple of weeks ago, how Cell Phones are incredibly annoying, and are being grossly overused by people. That blog is here: Link This was in response to the FCC allowing Cell Phone annoyances on Airlines now. But as I pointed out at the end of my Blog, there are significant risks to using cell phones...

I heard on the news today that there is some new legislation going through Washington that forces credit companies to provide an easy and FREE method for people to get their credit reports from each of the three agencies once a year. The website referred to on the news was: https://www.annualcreditreport.com/ Link I tried it, and it works great, and within minutes I had 3 credit reports FOR FREE (no strings attached). Good stuff.. Incase you don't know, there are three different a...

It started out innocent enough, my kids love Monster Trucks, and an upcoming Monster Truck event has been plastered over the TV and Radio all week. So being a fun parent, I decided it would be pretty cool to take my kids to see it this coming weekend - a good outting for us all! Little did I know that just getting tickets to this event would be an adventure, and i'd be subjected to a bunch of scam artists. Being that its 2005, and I buy 98% of everything off of the internet, I went to "T...
