I knew it! They never gave the people onboard a chance to take the plane over, they shot it down, then covered it up so the American people wouldn’t be pissed off… I'd have preferred to be alerted upfront about this at the time of the incident, we're all adults, we can handle it. WorldNetDaily: Rumsfeld says 9-11 plane 'shot down' in Pennsylvania WASHINGTON – Ever since Sept. 11, 2001, there have been questions about Flight 93, the ill-fated plane that crashed in the rural fields ...

New Page 1 http://www.boredmofo.com/ Kobra's Picks for Best Games of 2004 Someone else posted a blog of top 10 games of 2004, and I was astounded by how many "Bad" games were in that list. But then again, lists are nothing more than opinions I guess. But I consider myself a gamer with very discerning tastes, I like games with challenge, and I like them with depth. I don't like easy or pretty games with no backbone. So with that in mind, here are my picks of 2004 for PC gaming. ...

I know someone that purchased a 3,000$ computer system, and all they know how to do with it, is check the weather. Thats a mighty expensive widget! Anyone else got any horror stories about nOoBs that buy computers, and then are confused with what they are used for? Share them with us....

Well that was quick. The redirection of BoredMofo to here is over, and its back up. I decided to throw up my own little blog site, because its so much more efficient to blog and link crap, than it is to maintain a Mambo type website and forums. People can chat and comment within the blogs, so it really serves the same purpose, just grossly more efficient. Plus, with WordPress, I can 1-click to create new stories, directly while i'm browsing. I might add, thats a feature i'd like to ...

$300 19″ LCD’s… All the way down to Portable DVD Players for $89.. This is a great shopping year for electronic junkies like myself. I’ve got money, but i’m cheap, I have wanted a portable dvd player for about 5 years but never wanted to spend $999 for them.. Last year they were down to $300, and I was tempted. This year? Try $89 for a nice 7″ model with all the bells and whistles. Now thats a price I like - so yes, I purchased one. I’m whats called a “Late” adopter when it ...

I'm generally a fairly healthy person (but I need improvements), however I tend to get Acid Reflux and Heartburn around Christmas time. The cold weather, combined with my excessive holiday feasting, and my slightly overweight state all combine for some pretty intense reflux this time of year. Four years ago, I discovered a sure fire remedy for acid reflux and general digestive health. Aloe Vera juice! The healing and soothing properties of Aloe have been known for centuries, and ancient ...

I had a strange thing happen over the last two days. I just didn't feel "Good", it was hard to explain, but in general, I felt like I was less on my toes. Worse, I had physical symptoms, I had a scathing headache last night, and some wierd leg pain, and my left leg felt "Warm", like someone was pouring hot water over it! At first I was thinking this was pretty serious, and was concerned, so I explained the symptoms to my wife, and she seemed to think it was a pinched nerve or something bec...

For many years, green tea was only frequently seen in the "Heath Nut" sector, but wasn't mainstream. Americans preferred Coffee over tea, and green tea wasn't really even a consideration until the late 90's when it started to break out from the health food stores into mainstream markets. Now you can hardly go anywhere without seeing green tea, many restraunts are serving it, and its on the shelf of every grocer. Why the focus change? There is a wealth of significant, long term data tha...

My father passed away suddenly on October 6th 2004. He was only 60 years old, and died long before he was due to die. The primary cause of his death was Cardiac Arrest, but the major contributing factor to his death was Diabetes, and poorly controlled diabetes. He didn't have high cholesterol, his health in general was pretty reasonable for someone his age, but he failed to control his diabetes, and it destroyed the tissues in his heart and he died. Diabetes runs in my family, on both s...

A new study came up, illustrating the dangers of Cell Phones are deeper than people realise.. Link I hate to say it - but I told ya so! Some will remember I blogged a similar topic a couple of weeks ago, how Cell Phones are incredibly annoying, and are being grossly overused by people. That blog is here: Link This was in response to the FCC allowing Cell Phone annoyances on Airlines now. But as I pointed out at the end of my Blog, there are significant risks to using cell phones...

Cell phone annoyance takes to the air! http://apnews.myway.com/article/20041215/D8709TTO2.html There are few things in life that bother me more than people that walk around with a Cell Phone growing our of their ear. Everywhere I go, there someone being obnoxious on their cell phone, and its highly annoying.. Why do people do this? Do they think its cool? Its not folks, cell phones were cool 10 years ago when nobody had them, now they mean nothing to other people, so stop looking a...

I am not overly religious, but I have faith, and I believe in god. I don't go to Church, i'm not of any regular "Religion" as they are known, nor do I preach the word of god to anyone. My faith is inside, personal, and is a important part of my life. But with that being said, I don't consider myself religious in the sense that people define it nowadays. You won't find crosses all over my house, nor will you find me talking about God to anyone.. I've had several major things in my life that...

New Page 1 Even before I worked at Stardock, I loved Stardock games.. I have a very short list of games I keep around and play, but one game that keeps coming back for more around here, is Political Machine. The election is long over, but the game lives on, and its something we play around my house quite regularly. I can't explain why, its just a very entertaining product, it has slick and stylish graphics, pleasing mechanics, and a difficulty level that makes it a challenge. All...

New Page 1 One of my all-time favorite games, is without a doubt, the original "Pirates!" by Sid Meier. I'd venture a guess, this game is on the top 10 best games list of every gamer that grew up playing games during the timeframe it was released - mid eighties I believe. It was with great anticipation that I awaited the return of Pirates! last week.. Finally, we'd see an updated, and amazing version of the original, done with current technology. Sid was at the helm of this new ve...
